C86200 Manganese Bronze Tube

The High Tensile Manganese Bronze - copper casting alloy UNS C86200 consists primarily of copper, zinc, aluminum and High Tensile Manganese Bronze. Manganese existing in UNS C86200 provides an attractive chocolate brown color which is commonly used in architecture. The presence of lead in the alloy improves the longevity of the alloy.

C86300 Manganese Bronze Tube

C86300 (SAE 430B) High Tensile Manganese Bronze is ideal for high load, low speed applications that require a combination of outstanding wear characteristics and high bearing strength. Despite its strength characteristics, however, this manganese bronze alloy is not heat-treatable, needs reliable lubrication and should be used in conjunction with hardened shafts. The lead in the alloy's makeup improves machinability without materially affecting its mechanical properties.

C86500 Manganese Bronze Tube

C86500High Tensile Manganese bronzes high strength copper-based alloys that include manganese as an alloying agent and high levels of zinc. They are characterized by high strength and hardness. This grade provides tensile strength to 110,000 psi and hardness well over 200 BHN. Manganese bronzes are used for trunnion bearings, heavily stressed gears, gearshift forks, impellers, marine propellers, valve stems, worm gears, and worms. It is also used for highly stressed machine parts.
